Meet your tour leader and head to the first stop; a family own WINERY where you will taste different types of wine including the famous Chianti Classico, Brunello of Montalcino, Super Tuscan wines, a 30 year-old balsamic vinegar and the delicious truffle extra virgin olive oil. Here you will learn how to recognize the different flavours and develop your taste buds with a passionate Tuscan wine producers.
Continue the trip towards the second LOCAL WINERY located in a stunning area well known for the production of the D.O.C.G. Vernaccia white wine facing the famous towers of San Gimignano. The wine makers will guide you through the vineyards and the cellars and they will share the secrets of the wine and oil production. At the winery you will enjoy; the famous Vernaccia white wine and a Chianti colli senesi D.O.C.G. You will also have the opportunity to buy the local products and wine at a great price to bring back home or ship to friends and family.
Before returning, enjoy a bonus stop in San Gimignano, one of Tuscany’s most picturesque medieval towns. Take a leisurely stroll, admire the historic architecture, and perhaps treat yourself to some world-famous gelato before heading back. If you’d like to end your tour in San Gimignano, you have the option to conclude at 4:00 PM instead of returning to the original meeting point.

Tour offered by bus on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a group tour or by 8-seat minivan on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for a semiprivate tour.
Please note: The people booking the low cost option by bus, will share the tour with our group departing from Florence at 09:40am and reaching the office in Chianti at 10:40am. The itinerary will continue regularly. In San Gimignano you will have the option of either spend 1h30m there in complete fredoom before returning to the Tuscany on Wheels office ( 4:30pm ) or end the tour there.

Great selection of wines! First place taught us about a bunch of wine tips, but stay focused cause he talks fast and doesn’t repeat which wine he is talking about. The second place I was to far away so I wasn’t sure what I was drinking but didn’t care cause the view was beautiful.
My boyfriend and I had a great time seeing 2 wineries in Tuscany. We tried 5 wines, balsamic and 2 olive oils at the first winery and 3 wines at the second. The wineries were beautiful, tables under umbrellas setup within the vines, and the views were worthy. The wine pairings were plentiful and left us full by the end.
My husband signed us up on this last minute, (night before), and it was one of the best choices we made our entire trip. Jean Francois our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area; we really enjoyed listening to his stories on the bus. Very sociable and fun for ALL ages! (Well maybe not kids) and great for couples, singles, and groups of friends!
